Curriculum

On 19th March 1953, he was ordained as priest at the diocese Mondoñedo-Ferrol. He studied Humanities at the Seminary in Mondoñedo and took his degree in Philosophy at the Gregorian University in Rome. He also took a degree in Biblican Sciences at the Biblical Institute in Rome.He filled the following offices:- From 1956 to 1966, he worked as teacher at the Seminary in Mondoñedo.- From 1956 to 1971, he was chapel master at Mondoñedo's cathedral.- General Secretary of the Bishopric (1966-80).- Diocesan delegate of 'Caritas' (1964-70).- Diocesan administrator of the Bishopric (1985-87).- Vicar-general of the Bishopric (1987-93).- Priest in As Pontes (1993).- Conductor of the Choral Society of Mondoñedo (1968-82).- Teacher at the Seminary in Mondoñedo (1956-1980).- Professor at the Theology Diocesan College and university Institute of Religious Sciences.- He worked as responsible for rural parishes, 'Cáritas', art heritage and so forth.
