 Curriculum

He is an autodidact. He paints mainly in oils, but he also likes watercolour, pastel and sculpture, collaborating in the illustrations of books, magazines and publications. In 1983, he founded and directed his own oil painting in Verín (Ourense), where he is living at the moment. Since 1991, he has been teaching oil painting at the Art School of Ourense. His work was exhibited all over Galicia and in almost all important Spanish cities as well as in Venezuela and Mexico. He enjoys himself with inside painting, looking for lights, half-lights and shadows, creating environments that remind us of Vermeer.

 Other Interesting Aspects

After going through different stages, he paints mainly figures. A bit later, he discovered still-life and landscape. Nowadays, inside painting draws his attention, trying to pick up light for every moment and space for every corner.
