Curriculum

He works at the firm ‘Alúmina-Aluminio’ and joined the socialist party (‘PSdeG-PSOE’) in 1978. From that moment onwards, he was the secretary general of the party in Cervo, secretary of Institutional Policy at the ‘Comarca da Mariña Luguesa’, delegate of the Galician National Committee and secretary of the Galician National Executive Committee of the ‘PSdeG-PSOE’. He was a town councillor (1983-87) and deputy mayor (1987-93) of the City Council of Cervo and town councillor of the City Council of Burela. He was also a deputy during the third and fourth sessions and president of the Socialist Party and spokesman of the Territorial Policy Area during the fifth and sixth sessions. Besides, he was a member of the Commission on the Territory, Public Works, Environment and Services and member of the Commission on Fishing. He was the spokesman of the Socialist Group in the Galician Parliament during the 7th session.
