She has worked as a teacher of Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education (Vigo, Pontevedra and Santiago, 1975-1994), at the University of A Coruña (1994-2001), in the Maia University Superior Institute (Portugal, 2001-2003) and, since 2003, at the University of Cauca (Colombia).

She has written over 80 texts, among books, articles and collective works.
