Curriculum

When he was eleven he left to Madrid and worked in a butcher's. Soon, he began to take part in amateur bullfights. His first bullfight with young bulls took place in Segovia. He made his début in Madrid in 1908 and throughout 1909, he took part in several bullfights. He became a fully qualified bullfighter in A Coruña on 15th September 1912. He was very successful in Barcelona ('La Monumental'), Seville ('La Maestranza')... He last took part in a bullfight in Madrid on 25th June 1922.
