He studied Secondary Education and Law in Santiago. When he was still young, he showed his vocation for Journalism writing articles in the magazines 'Galicia Nueva', 'La Raza', 'Revista Profesional de Derecho' and 'Foro'. In 1922, he published his first articles in the newspaper Faro de Vigo and collaborated with a section titled 'Temas Vivos' until his death.
